Joel Vaissi

Joel's journey began at the end of the 2010s when an interview sparked the interest of some crazy sport where you perform jumps and acrobatic stunts in the streets. Though when he saw them doing backflips he got discouraged and thought to him self: "I will never dare to do such things...", and left the idea behind.

Fast forward a couple of years Joel was attending a music festival in his home town. During the show there was a performance in which some guys showed off tricks and stunts. At the end of the show they said they would have try-outs to see if anyone wanted to join their group. Joel went to one of the try-outs which were more like workshops, and as soon as he learnt his first move, he was hooked. Ever since the 6th of December 2011, he has been deeply in love with parkour and everything it entails.

Nowadays Joel's both an athlete and a coach at QualityRunners. He is traveling to meet other parkour athletes but also plans events and jams. With that said, parkour changed his life forever.
